The only letters available are letters that are in the word. First it says the word, then students use the yellow letters to spell it. This game gives them the chance to spell sight words with a limited number of letters at the bottom. We also know that students learn to read and write words at the same time. I absolutely love this Listen & Spell game! We know that readers struggle with sight words because they do not follow phonics rules or because they are too advanced.
